Detalhes da observação
**Very rare in Brooklyn over past three or so decades, though this may dovetail with the modern era decrease of BOGU numbers as well. First found by Josh Malbin in the fog north of the bridge much earlier in the morning before it slipped away, but he kept with it and found it/one again another couple of hours later south of the bridge. Nice views of an adult flying around, and at one point I took digiscoped video. While taking this video, glare made it impossible to see fine details on the screen, but upon viewing the video a couple of days later I saw that another adult flew over the one I was taking video of, and both are diagnostically visible simultaneously. Didn’t view it/them for as long as others, but always lovely to get to see and watch one of these upper echelon gulls for any amount of time. Photos, video.
