Loud, clear, territorial song by one of the two individuals. The second Hwamei was off to the left out of frame.

Two adult individuals in a (Cordia spp.) small tree along forest edge along the pathway down to the reservoir from the main office/visitor center. One individual broke into territorial song three times. The two birds then simultaneously flew into the adjacent forest.
