Detalhes da observação
This was a big change from Sunday, April 11th, when I did not hear of see any Rusty Blackbirds. At 6:30 I saw two small flocks (9 &12) of Blackbirds fly from the direction of the Middle School over the golf course and out into the marsh. They profiled as Rusty but I am counting them as blackbird sp. in this report. That drew my attention toward the wet woods that runs next to the 7th hole white tee and fairway. As I approached that area I could hear the tremendous sound of a large number of Rusty Blackbirds. I saw 18 staged on trees and could see many more in reeds near the ground. Many of those flew up to stage. At the same time 28 Rusty Blackbirds had staged on a willow tree at the mens tee of the 7th hole. I saw 50 Rusty Blackbirds and have reported that, however I believe that there were many more than that.
