Indigo Bunting in a honey locust near the west edge of the large sanctuary meadow. I'm calling this a juvenile because of the yellow at the base of the bill (remains of gape?) This bird was part of the mixed flock in the sanctuary. I used Ethan's Screech Owl-Chickadee mix tape to bring them into the open.

One sang briefly in the sanctuary, one scolded from the large meadow, and a female was with the mixed flock in sanctuary trees.
