Detalhes da observação
Bewick's or intergrade? For years now I've been seeing these Tundra Swans annually near Great Salt Lake that show extensive yellow. After further research they appear to be outside the expected norm for Whistling Swans and must have some Bewick's genes involved. This particular individual may actually be a full Bewick's as it does have a yellow orbital ring, fully yellow lores with some yellow at the base of the culmen, a more deeper yellow tone, and more oval less jagged shape to the yellow spot.
