Observasjonsdetaljer
Tiny wader, largely associating with Sharp-tailed Sandpipers out at the peninsula wader roost. Located initially by itself in the first large saltwater pool in the salt marsh. Whilst looking somewhat small through the scope, I had front-on views and it looked like a sharpie at that point. Only when it flew to the next pool did I notice its diminutive size. As I approached the next pool a Chestnut Teal flushed early, taking with it 3 sharpies and the stint, allowing good comparative views in flight - tiny size was apparent. Relocated a short while later on the main body of water at the roost, associating with a sharpie flock. Allowed for scope views and a few photos for 60 seconds before it flushed with the sharpies and headed north, I stayed till dark but it didn't return. I never saw the legs and it didn't call - brown tones, dark cap and dark scapulars. Thanks to a number of other birders for confirming ID from the shots.
