Observasjonsdetaljer

In the cove just off the wetlands sitting together near a few mallards and Gads. Sooty, dark brown to nearly black on body with heads slightly paler than body. Olive-yellow bill. Reddish-orange legs. Similar to Mallard female but darker and bulkier. I’m glad there were mallards nearby because the contrast helped with ID. Will upload photo.
