Sweet! Seen @(40.767527,-123.874922), where it gave incredible looks to about twenty WDLF 311 students. I assumed this was a pure SPOW, but upon review, it seems it was paired up with a Barred Owl. This individual appears fairly SPOW-like but is a little too gray around the face, and the breast is a mix of streaking and spotting. The song also sounds a bit weird for a pure SPOW.
