Heron was buzzed by a Red Tail Hawk immediately after catching the vole. The hawk retrieved the vole, flew to nearby telephone pole to consume it.

Caught a vole, which was immediately taken away by a Red Tail Hawk (photos attached, not good quality but uploaded in case they're useful for researchers identifying/tracking heron prey).
