Observasjonsdetaljer
Observed sixteen I'iwi, adult and juvenile, on wings and perched in 'O'hia Lehua Trees foraging for nectar. There were more I'iwi present than I have seen in previous hikes which I believe is due to the forest fire burning some of the habitat adjacent to Hosmer's Grove. The I'iwi were also very active with lots of singing and the adults possibly displaying breeding or territorial displays. The O'hia Lehua Trees were still in full bloom.
