Observasjonsdetaljer

The photos are of the same bird that was singing at the far north end of Stream Trail. It repeatedly returns to the same tree it nested last year. Neither bird needed prompting to sing. They were loud, continuous, and clear. Both birds have bright yellow bodies with black eyes and dark blue wings and tails. The audio is from the second bird. The second bird is at the far south end of Stream Trail and the 200 meters east. While I could see the bird, I was unable to photograph it, so I used Android Voice Recorder that includes AMRE, NOPA, and YEWA. There are 5 intervals with the PRWA on the recording: 8-10, 15-17, 22-24, 30-32, and 36-38 second marks (give or take 0.5 seconds) and between 4-8 kHz. Encouraging there might be 2 nesting PRWA this year.
