Video. Photos are video stills, sorry for low quality. Medium-sized bird with crested head; brown and cream with streaky/stripy markings on belly and sides. Tail and neck shorter in comparison to RNPH. Also generally smaller overall than RNPH. Bird was initially sitting on my front walk as I drove in. Then it flew to a grassy area at the edge of the woods. Eventually it came into view so I could get a small video of it with my iPhone. Lifer.
