Observasjonsdetaljer

Found flitting around and bobbing up and down on driftwood near a beach boulder field (which seemed liked great South Island Wren habitat, even if the elevation was odd). We got very close (and have photos/video). Larger than Rifleman, without an upturned bill. It also did not behave like a Rifleman: it was much bolder (it got very close to us), was way more terrestrial, and it bobbed up and down each time it landed. Please feel free to contact me if you'd like photos or video.
