Observasjonsdetaljer
Flushed from the brush along the oil road by the helipad. In flight we saw a moderately sized bird with brown upperparts, pale underparts and white corners to the tail. It landed in the marsh where we could observe it with scopes. Overall it was very thrush-like in shape - plump with wingtips held at the sides and slightly down. It foraged by walking swiftly on the ground. The white underparts were streaked with short crisp brownish streaks. Bill was short and dark. I also thought the bird exhibited two thin white wingbars. We later encountered the same bird or a 2nd bird in a patch of brush by the playground. I managed some photos of the bird when it briefly popped into the open but Brian never got good looks at it.
