Three calls on this section of recording, first at about 4 secs, second at about 17 secs, and best and last at about 1:44. Background calls of black-winged petrel (squeaky prominent call), Chatham Is snipe, and sooty shearwater.

Seen in flight several times. No pale collar, slightly pale on rump. Large and with a small carpal bar in underwing. Calling and responding to playback, came within a few metres but couldn’t land it. Incredible views.
