Observasjonsdetaljer
The bird was in the low trees along the fence line of Area B of the Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve near the main outflow long the south bank of Ballona Creek, which was open due to the monthly open house. GPS 33 57 53 N 118 26 57 W. I heard the bird first. It "meowed." The bird lacked white on the tail and lacked brightness overall, although it was also backlit. It flew several times out over the creek and then returned back to the mostly upper bare branches of the trees along the fence line. It looked like it was flycatching. It called frequently. A second bird was spotted while I was shooting video, but I believe it was an Anna's Hummingbird obscured mostly by branches and silent. I did not get my binoculars on the second bird.
