On a bad lighting day ... Lighting ... on the winter day when this image was captured ... ... was depressingly bad ... ... but opprtunity to see this exciting wildlife event csme on this day ... A very young fawn of Axis deer was killed by Eagles ... and one of them ... a huge Tawny eagle was feasting on it now ... ... it was being constantly harassed by a gabg of Large-billed Crows ... The minimum size of the Large-billed Crow is 46 cm ... and the Eagle ... amazingly looks more than three times larger than them ... at least ... To disperse the pestering Crows ... the Eagle called repeated ... giving a chance to record his call ...

Eagles killed a very young fawn of Axis deer. A Tawny Eagle is seen feasting on it. It is continuously disturbed by a group of Large-billed Crows. The eagle calls repeatedly to scare away the crows. An image of the event ... ... an opportunity to show how big the Eagle was ... ... presence of a Large-billed Crow has made all the difference ... ... use of super zoom paradoxically ... can make the object look bigger ... had the Eagle been alone in the frame ... the measure would have been lost ... but as the Crow is present in the same plane ... this principle of optics applies to both ... ... and the size of the this species of Crow is 46-49 Cm ... whereas the Eagle appears at least 3-4 times larger ... easily more than a Meter long ... making it the largest specimen of its type In the books, it is however ... described as medium large species of Aquila ...
