The "learning to whistle" song. This is a clip of the end of the first recording.
Observasjonsdetaljer
The "learning to whistle song." Please listen (preferably with headphones) to beginning (3 notes) and end (4 notes) of the first recording for the "lazy", whistled notes centering around 2K frequency. Only the strong base of the normal tower of the whistle is showing in my sonogram. Xeno-canto shows the slightly wavering, horizontal lines in many of the sonograms for AUOR. I was recording another bird, so this is accidental. Possibly a first year bird/immature? Area is off the River Trail, on dirt path near a thickly brushed riparian area favored by AUOR. WEVI and NOCA are the dominant voices in the recording. Second recording is just the edited end of the first recording. You can see the wandering, horizontal lines of the whistled notes near the bottom of the sonogram, with the first recording showing the AUOR's three notes in the beginning and the second sonogram showing the last 4 notes near the bottom.
