Birds were maintain sap wells in a small line of fir trees growing up at roadside. Sap wells, were low to the ground on the portion of the trunk between the ground and lowest branches. The firs were only 10 to 12 cm in diameter. The MS stereo pair was covered in camouflage cloth and placed on the ground about a couple of meters away. Some local vegetation was used to augment the camouflage. Equipment Notes: Decoded MS Stereo.
