The streaked weaver birds have been recorded as breeding at this pond in the two previous years. During the earlier years, the breeding colony consisted of mixed groups of both streaked weaves and baya weavers. This year, only streaked weavers were seen. The next building activity seemed to be in the initial stages. No juvenile birds were seen. Some birds were seen in the process of mating. The ID of the birds has been confirmed.
