The bird responded to playback. The cuckoo’s call was similar to the Chestnut-winged Cuckoo playback. Later, we observed the bird and noted its chestnut colored wings, the long black tail and the prominent crest. We saw no white in the wing. We had 4-5 brief observations, with 2 of those being flight observations.
