A flock of Greater Blue-eared Starlings perching and chattering in a mopane tree. Greater Blue-eared Starlings (Lamprotornis chalybaeus) are a locally common resident in south-eastern southern Africa, forming large flocks in the non-breeding season. This noisy flock was perching and calling in a Mopane tree in the northern part of Kruger National Park, South Africa. Elevation: 287 m. Date added to IBC: July 31, 2019.
