A Grey Shrike-thrush at its nest hollow. The Grey Shrike-thrush (Colluricincla harmonica) is an exceptional songster and occurs widely in all but the most arid regions of Australia (except Tasmania). It also occurs on larger offshore islands and Southern New Guinea. Grey Shrike-thrushes mate for life, and nest in a variety of positions, some in trees and shrubs, and sometimes in tree hollows where this bird is perching. Elevation: 224 m. Date added to IBC: September 30, 2018.
