American Black Vultures perching on a tower. The American Black Vulture (Coragyps atratus) is found from the south-eastern United States to central Chile and Uruguay. Black Vultures are commonly seen soaring over Iguazu Falls in Brazil and Argentina. These birds were resting on the roof of a tower in Iguazu National Park, Argentina after feeding earlier in the day. Elevation: 218 m. Date added to IBC: February 16, 2019.
