A female Swainson's Spurfowl dust bathing. Swainson’s Spurfowl (Pternistis swainsonii) is a common resident in Kruger National Park and is usually found in small family groups. Swainson’s Spurfowl is often seen foraging on road verges for seeds, insects and other food. This female Swainson’s Spurfowl was having a lovely time dust-bathing on the S28 Road in southern Kruger Park. Elevation: 287 m. Date added to IBC: July 3, 2018.
