A male of the Northern sub-species perched in the rain and viewed initially from the front and then flying to reveal a rear.....view.This race is often treated as a separate species - Northern Surucua Trogon on account of the orange underparts and yellow eye-ring. Elevation: 288 m. Date added to IBC: June 23, 2016.
