The female leaves the nest as the male arrives to feed the nestling. Elevation: 2062 m. Date added to IBC: June 22, 2016.

Observasjonsdetaljer

Nest in a small, isolated, mossy Rubiaceae tree in open pasture with scattered trees on a hill. Female was on the nest, sheltering the young. We watched for about 1.25 hours. Eventually the male came to the nest and the female flew away. He fed the chick by regurgitating food and then sat on the rim calling sporadically while the female called back. She returned after about 4 minutes and settled once again on the nest.
