Kommentarer

Alarm calls of individual probably near nest of flightless young. Recordist got within less than 30 feet and bird did not flush. About midway through the recording another bird, likely the mate, flew in and overhead giving "will-will-willet call". The bird on the ground flew up with other bird then circled back and landed nearby again repeating alarm calls. ML: Background subject changed from recordist's original identification of Grus canadensis tabida to Grus canadensis tabida/rowani to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015. Other Behaviors: Emit Alarm.
