NOTES: Weather: WIND; CHIPS. MOVING ABOUT NEAR GROUND AS IF THERE WERE A NEST NEARBY. 13KM SE OF MIO. [Five examples of a chip call much like that of Melospiza lincolnii (the description of this call in BNA account is quite weak). Quality unchanged (2 - the three BEST calls are at 0:10-0:14) - CAM - 30 June 2005]. Other Behaviors: Emit Alarm. Habitat: Coniferous Forest.
