Single bird, perched 25m high on a Pine tree (Cupressus lusitanica), at forest edge. Dawn song, at approx. 6:30AM. Also on tape: Yellow-backed Oriole (Icterus chrysater), Great Thrush (Turdus fuscater), Andean Solitaire (Myadestes ralloides), Gray.breasted Wood-Wren (Henicorhina leucophrys), Booted Racket-tail (Ocreatus underwoodii), Tropical Kingbird (Tyrannus melancholicus), Chestnut-crowned Antpitta (Grallaria ruficapilla), others.
