Observasjonsdetaljer

In shrub by roadside seen at close range (approx. 30 ft). Mobbed by Steller's Jays and Chickadees. A small Owl but larger than Pygmy. Distinctive broad, brownish streaking on breast, brown brown back with no dark spots on nape, and line of white spots on primaries. Large facial disk with white area between eyes.and bill. fine streaking around disc. Did not flush on close approach.
