**Rare but almost expected, new county high count | First heard downward jumble of notes as I was half way down the powerlines heading towards the Monument Rock trail intersection at the base of the path leading down the rocky ledge. I took the Monument Rock trail parallel to the powerlines towards the singing and was able to get some great views of a singing male. Meanwhile MAE was at the Ice Pond bridge and had another singing male who flew from the same direction as the one I was viewing came from. After observing mine for a good 10min. the individual MAE had bombed in to a the powerlines giving off the high pitched interaction calls. We were able to see both briefly before they disappeared. Similar to NOWA but lacking yellowish coloring on the stomach and supercilium. Light pink legs and bright white supercilium were a easy indicator of LOWA. Body movement was very active and consistently dipping up and down unlike the tail only dipping of a NOWA. Wouldn't be surprised if a pair bred here this year.
