Grazing in field in three different groups. Distant group very difficult to photograph with 500 mm lens. Sun was behind the birds. Did the best I could without disturbing the flocks or trespassing. Adults: Large, all-white swan with long straight neck, smoothly rounded head, and black legs and feet. Bill mostly black with small yellow spot at base in front of eye on many birds; lores black, with limited black facial skin reaching eye compared with Trumpeter Swan. Juveniles silvery gray colored with pink and black bills.
