Амьдрах орчин: Tideflats on the east end of the island. This area is the former cormorant nesting area which the US Army Corps of Engineers excavated out several years ago to make it intertidal, in order to oust the cormorants. Thousands of those cormorants now nest on the Astoria-Megler bridge.
