Female - I took these photos this morning on the Causeway. It is the first snowy owl I have seen on the Causeway since December 2017. There was a strong south wind blowing this morning. I was about a half mile north of the bridge. I did not see the owl until it was taking off into the wind and the sun directly toward me. When I walked back to my car, I took some photos of the owl sitting on the ground. It took off again to the south, this time away from me and then circled around to the north and landed at about the Colchester South Hero line behind me.
