Single bird Initially seen flying out to the left of the ‘island’ at the head of wolfes bay then joined by another individual and both started hawking above the water catching insects and landing occasionally (vocalising to each other on and off). Flew around to the mouth of L ll River and started hawking with a flock of gulls before disappearing and heading back around to the left of the ‘island’. Marsh terns with fully black caps, white cheeks, white sides to neck, smoky bellies, and cherry red beaks. Both individuals in full BP
