Rare for Date and Location. Observed this bird feeding with American Wigeons. First thought was same Eurasian Wigeon seen and reported previously in last two weeks. Although no extensive green around the eye, the half-rufous side of the face stood out most, almost demarcated from the lower half. The forehead is distinctly white, not cream-colored. The lighting today was poor, but when compared to the photos taken today of the continuing Eurasian Wigeon seen later, both appear to be two different birds--open to correction. Time: appx. 10:30am.
