Found earlier on the day by Nick Lethaby. This was a large blackbird, larger and bulkier than surrounding Tricolored Blackbird and Brown-headed Cowbird, with a hefty and thick bill, a long tail. a pale eye, and obvious blue-ish/purple head. Told from Great-tailed Grackle based on shorter tail, smaller size, and distinct color of head. Told from surrounding Brewer's Blackbird based on larger size and thinker and longer bill.
