Many thanks to David and Kim for the alert and helping put me on the bird upon arrival! Similar in size to the Pectoral Sandpiper. Had rufus cap/crown, distinct white eyeline, really fine streaks on the neck in the shape of a necklace, and upper breast was a washed-out cinnamon color. It seemed to hop around a bit as if it had an injured leg.
