We positioned ourselves and our speakers strategically and got two brief and distant looks as they crossed the trail maybe 25m away; on the second crossing they returned via there sane path and MJI was able to snap a few photos, a couple of them almost in focus. One of the specialty birds here with an extremely restricted (modern) range.
