Photographed. On little grassy patch right by where the FSR goes past the Alces/Moose Lake campground. Coordinates: 50.11978, -115.5476 Bird has well marked complete eye ring and bright orange spot before eye and dark auricular spot. Very complex patterned back with bright rufous and black patterning. Some faint streaking on breast which doesn't match the Sibley drawings but I see is visible in other photographs of Grasshopper sparrows, otherwise clean below. Quite big bill, but overall a fairly small sparrow.
