Heard it chip calling (audio included) for roughly two minutes from a scrubby stand of young pines in the managed pine lot. It couldn’t have been more than 15 feet into the trees from the trail. It eventually flew out and I got a good enough glimpse of the black-capped yellow before it went back down into the brush about 20 yards away on the same side of the trail. I didn’t hear it again after that. This was at 17:28. I want to come visit again soon!
