Large pink legged gull with bright white head and chest. Slightly bigger than the nearby Herring gull. Heavy dark bill. Scapulars have the typical light and dark pattern, but much fainter and more worn than other GBBG we normally see, so the id was a little more difficult. Our local gull expert has confirmed that this is GBBG. This gull was seen for less than a minute looking eastward from the playground Market street parking lot.
