The Greater Pewee continues into the New Year. We hadn't left the parking lot yet as it was very active with sparrows and juncos when it began calling. We then found it in the orange grove across from the parking lot. It was very cooperative. Later we heard it calling along the trail across the way from the bench seats across the stagnant pond somewhere in the old trailer park. It was not seen or heard at the parking lot when we finished.
