Seen on dead wood and flying down to grasses and back up into the trees … bird was actively feeding, flying from one branch to another. Brilliant red head, white body, half black half white wings, Great lookout point on Battery Chester at Fr Miley. Easy to find. Life bird for both of us. Continuing bird. Photos not great but clear enough to confirm sighting. Battery Chester is graffiti covered and offers several “viewing platforms” from which to view the bird.
