00:06 Radiotagged male Helmeted Woodpecker (Celeus galeatus), with yellow band on left leg, arriving and entering its roost in a decay-formed cavity in a live rabo itá tree (Lonchocarpus leucanthus), followed by its offspring juvenile (fledged 3 days earlier) that arrives at 02:10 and enters the shared roost space. Note that the woodpeckers roost in the upper part of the cavity. Note loud wing beat sound upon arrival and lack of vocalizations by the woodpeckers. Background sounds: Green-winged Saltator, Rufous-bellied Thrush, Ochre-faced Tody-tyrant, Speckle-breasted Antpitta, White-browed Warbler. Because of sensitivity of location, the location precision is 800m.
