song from a male bird perched on a 1m high spruce tree in otherwise treeless, slightly shrubby and somewhat dry alpine tundra. The second cut is of rattle calls from the same bird, given as I was sneaking up on it and I got to within fairly close range. This is the same bird as photographed in ML32239531.
