3 fledglings heard and then seen as I was driving out of the park after my walk - all had some down still left, mostly on the head. One moved about in the open while the other two remained more hidden in the woods. They were frequently calling a strange loud and persistent call (audio recorded and attached). When I got out of the car to look for the source of the call, I finally saw a young BAOW perched above me. I soon heard and saw the other two youngsters close by in the woods. No adult was seen. Life bird for Kate!
