Individuals from a small flock feeding in a fruiting tree. These birds are part of a relict population separated from the main ranges in the Amazonian regions. In my view they appear different to the nominate form in having no or very restricted amounts of blue in the secondaries, primaries and tail. Any further comments on this would be welcome.
