NOTES: Unseen bird was about 50 m away and relatively high up in igap¿ forest just in from edge of a tree-fall gap near small, mostly dry, mud bath/salt lick located in a depression about 50 m in from bank of river a short distance above upper end of Trilha de Dr. Haffer; in response to playback the bird approached, landing high overhead in trees along edge of tree-fall gap; I never did see it; there was a mixed-species flock in the immediate vicinity but it was unclear whether or not this bird was associating with the other birds [= RCR218-219; GPS coordinates for saleiro in RCR227]. Response to playback: No response. Other Behaviors: Advertise, Social Context: Mixed. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest, Riparian, Edge.
